The HMR Compression Strut System was installed in the roof construction of the gymnasium. HMR750 Tension Rods were used to brace the walls.
The use of the same fork allows for an aesthetically sophisticated combination of both systems.

Compressive Loads

HMR Compression Strut Systems, like the HMR 750 Tension Rod Systems, are available in fourteen thread sizes from M12 to M100

The CHS is supplied as standard in the material grade S355J2 and in all common diameters from 33.7 mm to 323.9 mm.
Individual diameters on request. The wall thicknesses start at 4 mm and go up to 16 mm.

The HMR Compression Strut System can be adjusted by means of tapered cones and threaded studs with spanner flats.

The HMR Compression Strut is designed to be able to absorb tensile forces or compressive forces.
A static design of the maximum compressive loads must be provided by the customer in each case.

Unique Corrosion Protection

through Surface Coating

We offer the HMR Compression Strut System in all thread sizes with the following surfaces:

  • in carbon steel (black) -
    all fittings are supplied hot dip galvanised in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1461
  • in hot dip galvanised according to DIN EN ISO 1461, compliant to corrosion category* C3 high
     
  • with powder coating up to corrosion category* C4 high
  • with wet paint up to corrosion category* C5 high; ZTV-Ing-compliant if required
  • with duplex coating up to corrosion category* C4 high
  • with primer
  • with fire protection coating F30, according to corrosivity category* C3 high
    * Corrosion protection classes according to DIN EN ISO 12944

=> The threaded studs that connect the fork and taper cone are supplied with a zinc flake coating.

European Technical Assessment - ETA

The HMR Compression Strut System is approved in diameters M12-M100 by the German Institute for Construction Technology under the number ETA-18/0104.
